With the support of a trained adult, children collaboratively build with LEGO bricks, taking on roles like Engineer, Builder and Supplier to promote communication, teamwork and problem-solving in a structured yet playful environment. It is especially beneficial for children with autism or autistic traits.
Using Lego therapy with autistic pupils
This intervention also supports better well-being and the development of sharing, turn-taking, listening, attention and collaborative conversation. Some children may be chosen to participate in the intervention as a social model.
