At The Riverview Academy, we believe that strong relationships between school and home are at the heart of a child’s success. As the school’s Family Liaison Officer, my role is to support those connections by being a trusted, approachable link between families and school life.
Whether you’d like to talk through a school matter or something more personal, I’m here to listen without judgement and help you find a positive way forward. You’re welcome to stop by for a chat- I’m often available at the school gate in the mornings- or you can contact me via the school office to arrange a time that suits you.
Sometimes, support might include connecting you with helpful external services such as health professionals, bereavement support, young carer services, women’s services, or local charities. Whatever the need, I’ll do my best to guide you toward the right resources.
All conversations are treated with care and in confidence. If a safeguarding concern arises, I may need to share information with senior staff so we can ensure the right support is in place.
